Prominent speakers and authors Yahya Ibrahim and Yasmin Mogahed are slated to appear in speaking events ‘live’ in Kuala Lumpur throughout September and October 2022, event organisers Faith Events recently announced.
Sheikh Yahya Ibrahim is a specialist in Spirituality and Qur’an. He studied Tafsir, Fiqh and Hadith with scholars from Hijaz and Egypt and is sought after by Muslim and non-Muslim organizations, schools and government. Sheikh Yahya educates on domestic violence, misogyny, gender discrimination, child protection, disability and mental health. He was awarded the West Australian Multicultural Community Service Award for Individual Excellence.
Yasmin Mogahed is an American educator and motivational speaker. She is a specialist in spirituality, psychology, and personal development and is the first Muslim woman to become an instructor at AlMaghrib Institute. Yasmin is also the author of bestselling books, ‘Reclaim Your Heart’, ‘Healing the Emptiness’ and ‘Love & Happiness: A collection of personal reflections and quotes’.
