Have you ever wondered why the design of hotels in the central area of Madinah surrounding Masjid Al-Nabawi mostly looks the same?

According to the Twitter page of haramainarchive, during the beginning of the formation of the central area in the mid-90s, an order from Prince Abdul Majeed (رحمه الله) stated that the hotels and buildings adjacent to the Prophet’s Mosque should adhere to the Islamic style.
